Emidio Capriotti is actively promoting training in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
In collaboration with other researchers, we are working to develop a training program in
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna.
Students with research interests in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics please contact
Emidio Capriotti.
This year I will give the course
Module 2 of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics I
of the Master of Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna.
In 2023, I gave the course Elements of Biophysics.
In collaboration with Sergio Decherchi,
we organized the course
Elements of Programming Languages
for the PhD in Data Science and Computation.
On 2021 I taught the course
Proteomes, Interactomes and Biological Networks.
course at the Bachelor Degree in Genomics at the University of Bologna.
At the University of Duesseldorf, during the summer 2016, the module Introduction to Protein-Protein Interaction Network (iPPI) was offered as a part of the Network Biology course (M4424) organized by Prof. Martin Lercher and Prof. Markus Kollmann.
In the fall 2015 the module Introduction to Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (iCB2)
was taught as a part of the course Introduction to Molecular Systems Biotechnology (M4453) organized by Prof. Markus Kollmann.
Previously, with Malay Basu we developed the following two courses offered to the
the students of the Graduate Biomedical Science (GBS) program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
We are promoting the ERASMUS
exchange for thesis preparation at the following institutions:
